Po stopinjah Gozečih – ko zgodbe povežejo skupnost

Vsak zid ni iz kamenja. A drži in stoji, kljubuje času kot pravi. Takšni so zidovi skupnosti, sestavljeni iz tisoče drobnih zgodb, tesno povezanih, prepletenih med seboj, združeni  z odnosi v celoto. Ostajajo vtisnjeni v spomin generacij, malo s časom obledijo, kot kamni na soncu.

Vseeno lahko izginejo v pozabo. Zavod Belinov štiblc zato skozi projekt obnove zapuščene kmetije, z novim imenom Posest pri Gozetu, ne oživlja le kamnov. Preko raziskovanja zgodb in zbiranja spominov o Gozečih pod naslovom »Po stopinjah Gozečih – ko zgodbe povežejo skupnost«, pomaga ohranjati zapuščino pretekle skupnosti in z njenim znanjem povezovati sedanjo, da se tako ohrani čim več za skupnosti naših zanamcev.

Vse anekdote, o Gozečih ali kom drugem, namreč nosijo enako sporočilo: skupnost smo ljudje, vsak posameznik je njen gradnik, vtisnjen v spomin, ki ga prenašamo naprej skozi pripovedovanje zgodb. Brez teh bi se vsi kot prah izgubili v vetru časa.

In the Footsteps of the Gozeči – When Stories Connect the Community

Not every wall is made of stone. Yet it holds and stands, defying time just the same. Such are the walls of a community—built from thousands of tiny stories, tightly interwoven, bound together by relationships into a single whole. They remain etched in the memory of generations, fading slightly with time like stones under the sun.

Even so, they can easily slip into oblivion. That is why, through the restoration project of an abandoned farm—newly named Posest pri Gozetu (Gozet Estate)—the Belinov Štiblc Institute is doing more than just reviving stones. By researching stories and collecting memories of the Gozeči under the title “In the Footsteps of the Gozeči – When Stories Connect the Community,” it helps preserve the legacy of a past community and uses its wisdom to unite the present one, safeguarding as much as possible for the communities of our descendants.

After all, every anecdote—whether about the Gozeči or anyone else—carries the same message: a community is made of people, and every individual is a building block etched into a memory that we pass down through storytelling. Without it, we would all scatter like dust in the winds of time.
